Train Station in Istanbul, Turkey was an inspiration to many writers, film-makers, and even musicians.
Standing in this historical structure was overwhelming. It's amazing how quiet and peaceful it is inside, especially with all the chaos of traffic and tourists that surround it. What an excellent place to gather one's thoughts!

held many treasures worth
photographing.
I loved the smells and colors that overwhelmed the streets. I could have stood in the produce department of the grocery stores just taking in the fresh, sweet smells that immediately surrounded me.
Everything tasted like it was just brought off the farm.
There were many types of food stands throughout Istanbul. A popular treat on the streets were cooked water chestnuts. Yum!
